Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior MERN Stack Developer to lead and manage development projects, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js along with experience in cloud deployment and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Development & Architecture
- Design and develop scalable and efficient web applications using the MERN stack.
- Develop RESTful APIs & GraphQL for seamless backend communication.
- Write clean, reusable, and optimized React.js components for front-end development.
- Implement server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
- Work with MongoDB (or DocumentDB) for database design, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Project Management & Leadership
- Lead a team of developers, conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and DevOps engineers.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Ensure adherence to best coding practices, security protocols, and DevOps workflows.
Integration & Deployment
- Deploy applications to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Firebase.
- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, or similar protocols.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and cloud services.
Required Skills:
✅ Strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
✅ Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript (preferred), and modern frontend libraries.
✅ Experience with Redux, Context API, React Hooks, and Next.js (optional but preferred).
✅ Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
✅ Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments.
✅ Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
✅ Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
✅ Knowledge of Microservices architecture, Serverless functions, and Event-driven systems.
✅ Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
Preferred Skills:
➕ Experience with AI/ML integrations or real-time applications (WebRTC, Socket.io).
➕ Knowledge of Blockchain, IoT, or AR/VR technologies.
➕ Hands-on experience with Headless CMS, Strapi, or GraphQL-based architectures.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Industry certifications in MERN stack, Cloud, or DevOps are a plus.
